Farm Acts to provide benefits to big corporate houses : PPCC President Sunil Jakhar
Chandigarh – India News front — :
Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee President Sunil Jakhar said that the anti-farmer acts have been passed by the Modi Government to provide benefits to big corporate houses.
Sunil Jakhar on Sunday participated in the tractor rally , along with the Youth Congress, which was organised in response to the anti- farmer acts passed by the Central Government.
Slamming SAD , PPCC Chief Sunil Jakhar said that the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD ) which has changed its form to Sukhbir Akali Dal has now come to Punjab as a BJP agent by drama of resignation to mislead the farmers , so that the parties united against the people’s killing policies of Modi government can be weakened.

In a statement , Mr. Sunil Jakhar said that previously working as an agent of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Akali leaders tried to mislead farmers with these black farming laws. And this campaign has been running for the past three months and on every platform including the Agriculture Minister’s letter, they have been supporting these black laws stating these in the interest of the farmers.
The state congress president said, ′′ Even then when the wise farmer of Punjab did not come into their illusion and they did not get success in this way, now it is with the bad intention to disrupt the farmer’s unity once again by the excuse of the sacrifice letter they have come from Delhi to Punjab.”
Mr. Jakhar said that two facts prove that the Akali Dal still does not care about the interests of the farmers but it is working to fulfill the wishes of its ‘Aakas’ sitting in Delhi. Fact first, Mrs. Harsimrat Kaur Badal from Central Vajrat gave a resignation letter but also said that the Shiramani Akali Dal will remain a partner in the central government, and secondly, the Akali leader Mrs. Badal still not criticizing the bills but says farmers are calling these laws anti-farmers.
Mr. Jakhar alleged that now when all farmer organizations , all the political parties except the Akali Dal and BJP, every group of society united against these black laws, then this agent of BJP intends to torpedo the farmers movement. Mr. Jakhar said that but the moves of these agents of Prime Minister Modi have been considered and now the farmers of Punjab will not come in their illusive words.

On the other hand, SAD leader Sukhbir Singh Badal also , reacting over the way of passage of farm bills in Parliament, said , “Democracy means consensus, not oppression. A sad day for democracy indeed if it leads to ‘Annadata’ starving or sleep on roads.”
Twitting with a request to President of India to return these bills without signing , Sukhbir wrote, “Urging President of India not to sign the Bills on farm issues & return them to #Parliament for reconsideration. Please intervene on behalf of farmers, labourers, arhtiyas, mandi labour & Dalits, or they will never forgive us.” ( INF ).
